Praise Report: -In the past few months God has shaken the tree that is Life Connections and many of the 'nuts' have fallen from the tree, proving also that our colon is in good health. -A team of four men has formed and are beginning to shoulder the ministry load while participating in weekly elder training. -A new full time worship and creative arts director has joined our staff. Prayer Requests: -High level of spiritual attack from those who have been separated from the church. With such a high level of young sheep, the wolves have multiple targets for attack. Lies, gossip and all around silliness are coming in many forms. Pray for protection for myself, the staff, leadership teams and the sheep. -Pray for the remnant that remains in the church to commit to living passionate missional lives. -We are in desperate need of a children's director and someone to lead spiritual formations. |

Prayer Requests -Mark & I came into this ministry rather blind, especially me. He is the only teen boy at our church and is very lonely. He has lost his fire to continue to reach out to his friends and invite them to church. -To always love others deeply no matter what. |

Praise Report: -We recently relocated to a movie theater. This has given us plenty of space and will allow for future growth. -The theater we are meeting at is providing free on-site storage. This has cut our set-up/tear-down time tremendously. -We just celebrated our 2 year birthday as a church. Many people shared how God has used our church in their personal faith journeys. It was exciting. Prayer Requests: -That this Easter season will be a good growth time for us as we seek to become self-supporting by mid-summer. -For continued emotional and spiritual healing from a huge personal financial reversal for our family. -That God would continue using Faith Journey to reach people who feel like they don’t fit anywhere else. |

Praise Report -August will be our 4th year since we came to Evansville to start CenterPoint. -We are healthy as a Church. -We have had 20 babies born into the Church in the past 1 1/2 years! -We are getting ready to baptize 5 people at our CenterPoint picnic. Prayer Requests -We just had one of our planting staff members leave our Church. It was a hard decision for them but I believe it is God's will for their lives. -Pray for a possible building. We are presently looking at a facility on two acres. It is in a well traveled area of Evansville and we are the only possible offer they have. -Pray for continued momentum for next steps at CenterPoint. New families, expanded ministries and development of our leadership base. |

~PCF has been blessed in the area of music from day one. Part of the blessing today is seeing two of our leaders in music take their ministry to Nashville with their band, 7-miles. We celebrate with our brothers, while simultaniously we need to hear from God about His direction in this area of PCF's ministry. Please pray that we would have sensitivity and insight to build the new team with God's blueprints. ~PCF is currently working through a series answering some of the Da Vinci Code questions, the six week series seems to be intriguing to more than just me. ~PCF will begin, as part of our concentrated missional focus, to attend community meetings in our city in order to: 1) make ourselves available to serve and 2) raise our awareness of the city and the cities awareness of PCF. Pray that we will be welcomed by the community leaders, be genuine in our efforts, and see God's agenda for PCF through the eyes of the communities. |

Praise Report -We praise God for our 1 year anniversary of the Vietnamese Faith Community Church of Chicago. We have 25-40 people every Sunday afternoon at our church. -We have moved into a new condo in Evanston and our oldest daughter, Mary Le, has started pre-school. My uncle, Rev. Binh Thanh Pham and his family moved from Palawan, Philippines to Chicago recently after serving 16 years there with the Vietnamese refugee people and is now working with us. Prayer Requests -Pray for our people to grow in faith and have their own personal relationship with God. Pray for God to break the hold of Buddhism and Ancestor worship that many of them have in their backgrounds. -Pray for our monthly offerings and tithes so we can be self-supported in the near future. -Pray for a good location so we can be near our Vietnamese people. |

Prayer Requests -The post office lost our mailer so they went out this week, we are looking for a big turn out on February 18th. -Jill and I do not have health insurance. Pray that something will open up for us. -Pray for the many who still come who are not followers of Christ, that they would step over the line and accept Christ by faith. |

Praise Report -God has connected us with people from all over the world. I've been invited to speak at a Bible Camp in Korea by the parents of one of our core families. They are a part of a 20,000 memeber church in Seoul, Korea. -There is an older Afrian American couple praying about joining our church, he is an experienced worship leader. Prayer Requests -Stability over the summer. -Connecting with new families over the summer. This is our 'Summer of Fishing.' Each week we are focusing on a different 'fishing tip' for becoming better 'fishers of men.' -We need to raise $10,000 over the summer for our Fall marketing & outreach activities. We are trying to get former Illinois basketball forward, Riger Powell, to speak the last Sunday of August. |

Prayer Requests -We are quickly running into space issues that we have to figure out soon. -We need another venue for our midweek gathering and haven't found much yet to meet that need. -We are currently praying through what the next phase of our church will look like-it's both exciting and a bit daunting at the same time. |
